What is sertaconazole topical?
Sertaconazole is an antifungal medicine that is used topically over the affected areas of the skin for the treatment of superficial fungal infections.
Sertaconazole topical is an antifungal medication that fights infections caused by fungus.
Sertaconazole topical (for the skin) is used to treat tinea pedis (athlete's foot) in adults and children who are at least 12 years old.
Sertaconazole topical may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

You should not use sertaconazole topical if you are allergic to it.

Uses:
Tinea pedis:
Topical treatment of interdigital tinea pedis in immunocompetent patients 12 years of age and older, caused by Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, and Epidermophyton floccosum.
Off Label Use of Sertaconazole in Adults:
Cutaneous candidiasis;
Seborrheic dermatitis;
Tinea versicolor
Sertaconazole Dose in the treatment of Tinea pedis:
Apply topically between toes and to surrounding healthy skin two times a day for 4 weeks
Sertaconazole Dose in the treatment of Cutaneous candidiasis (off-label):
Topical: Apply to the affected area(s) two times a day for four weeks.
Dose in the treatment of Seborrheic dermatitis (off-label):
Topical: Apply to the affected area(s) two times a day for 4 weeks.

How to administer Sertaconazole?

Mechanism of action of Sertaconazole:
